I’m not sure if this forum is still active, so this might just be me screaming into the void.
My cofounder and I have been building https://rough.app to help with the early stages of shaping. It’s a little bit dovetail, a little bit notion, and a total labour of love.
It comes from our experience using Shape Up at a midsized remote org for over 3 years. We wanted a home for pitches, a place where everyone inside a company could particpate in framing, pitching, and shaping.
We diverge from Shape Up in a some ways, like we don’t necessarily subscribe to the idea of a betting meeting, instead opting for a running priority list. I can dig into some of the reasoning behind a few of our product decisions if people are interested.
It’s been a bit of a challenge finding companies that use Shape Up outside of our initial few customers. It’s not something people exactly shout from the rooftops! I’d love to get some more perspective from people using it so I’m hoping there are still a few people kicking about this forum that want to do some discovery with me!
